Project Description

Wadham College’s historic Staircase 9 has undergone a thoughtful and forward-thinking transformation. Tasked with reimagining these halls of residence, we created contemporary suites that honour the college’s architectural heritage while adapting to modern needs. Designed for versatility, these refined spaces serve as both student accommodation and a sophisticated retreat for leaders attending the annual residential intellectual retreat each summer. Our approach carefully balances tradition and innovation, ensuring that whether occupied by a current student or a distinguished guest, the interiors offer an experience that is both timeless and functional.
